Mrs. Edith K. Hitchcock Moffet, 72, well-known Menastash District resident for 36 years, died at a local hospital Thursday of last week. She came to the Kittitas Valley in 1908. She was a member of the Phythian Sisters Lodge.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick L. Moffet; a daughter, Mrs. Kermit [Clement] Mitchell; a grandson, Leroy Mitchell and a brother, R. W. Hitchcock of Rapid City, SD.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Honeycutt Chapel. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery.
