The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Beech Branch Baptist Church, with the Revs. W.E. Washington and Alfred Walker Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Herrington, a native of Burke County, was a homemaker and member of Beech Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Gloria H. Clark, Pauline Walker, Carrie H. Wilkerson, Joyce Herrington and Ann H. Sturgis, all of Augusta; two sons, Norman Herrington, Augusta, and Eugene Herrington, Atlanta; three sisters, Mary L. Coleman, Boston, Beatrice Jones, Waynesboro, and Alma M. Lee, Augusta; three brothers, Warren S. Mobley and Audley Mobley, both of Augusta, and Alvin Mobley, Alexander; and 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
