Martha Inez Mize Faith, 91, of Poplar Bluff died at 6:35 pm Friday March 24, 1995, at Doctors Regional Medical Center. She has been in poor health for the past five years.
Mrs. Faith was born Dec 28, 1903, in Morley, MO. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stringtown Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and flower gardening and loved to travel. On May 15, 1926, she married John Harold Faith at Benton. He preceded her in death on Aug 3, 1982.
A daughter, Lola Lee Faith Maevers, also preceded her in death on May 15, 1971.
Survivors include two sons, James H. "Jim" Faith of Poplar Bluff and Donald R. "Corkey" Faith of El Paso, Ark.; and one daughter, Helen G. "Gerry" Williams of Poplar Bluff; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and one sister Doris Mize of Sikeston.
Visitation will begin at 7 pm today at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
