Larry David "Butch" Mitchell, 64, of DeGraff, died at 5:22 am Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born in Bellefontaine on Aug 27, 1945, a son of the late Walker W and Leatha M Forsythe Mitchell.
On Feb 14, 1981, he married Gay Denise Wren in Russells Point and she survives, along with a brother, Robert (Becky) Mitchell of Lima; his farming partner and nephew, Jason Hanger; nephew, Ryan Mitchell; and nieces, Missy Mitchell, Shawn Mitchell, Sarah Danyluk, Christina Danyluk and Teresa Danyluk.
A farmer and 1963 graduate of Indian Lake High School, he was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Lakeview AMVETS Post 39 and the Central Ohio Tractor Pullers Association.
The Rev Barry Baughman conducted a funeral today at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff. Burial was in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
