Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004, in First Baptist Church Chapel on Green Street for Mrs. Rosa Minor Peck, 93, of Gainesville.
The Rev. Bruce Fields and Dr. Bruce Morgan will officiate. Burial will be in Alta Vista Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the parlor of the First Baptist Church on Green Street.
Mrs. Peck died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Peck was the daughter of the late Henry and Lula Wood Minor. She and her husband were the owners of Claud Peck Wholesale for 38 years and also the Gainesville Motel. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville and a member of Euzelian Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claud "Bud" Peck, Jr., brothers, Hugh, Toy, Harley and Glen Minor; and infant sister Ruby Minor.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William Henry Peck and Linda Peck, Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Emma Peck Morgan and Dr. Bruce M. Morgan, Gainesville, brother, William Henry "Dub" Minor, Melbourne, Fla.; grandsons, Jason w. Peck and Ashley B. Peck, Atlanta; grandson and wife, Nathan Bruce Morgan and Lisa Morgan, Austin, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Renee Ruth Reynolds and Reid Reynolds, Washington, D.C.; great-grandchildren, Meredith Rose Morgan and Emma Christine Morgan, both of Austin, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist church, 751 Green St., N.W. Gainesville, GA 30501.
