YORK Sandra "Sandi" L. (Minnich) Aspey, 46, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the York Hospital. Ms. Aspey was born in Orlando, Fla., on December 4, 1968, daughter of the late Aaron T. and Joann E. (Rabenold) Minnich. She was employed by the East York K-Mart in the cash office as a front end lead for 30 years. Survivors include a son, Matthew "Jimmy" J. Aspey, Jr.; a daughter, Kara J. Aspey, both of York; a sister, Sheryl Shenberger of New Mexico; and her beloved cat, Gizmo Luann Aspey. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church (Freysville), 2650 Freysville Rd., Red Lion. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul N. Frank. There will be a viewing from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Freysville Cemetery, Red Lion. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Lung Assoc., 55 W. Wacker Dr., Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601. Arrangements were entrusted to the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., York.
