Myrtle Sue Milstead Beaver, 97, passed away at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. She was born in Alexander County. She was a daughter of Robert Edgar and Candace Roxanne Little Milstead. She retired from Cannon Mills. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was the oldest living member, and also taught 2and 3 year olds in Sunday school for over 47 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Floyd Calvin Beaver; brother Robert E. Milstead Jr. and 2 sisters Hattie Belle Poole and Beulah Mae Milstead. She is survived by 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and numerous nieces and a nephew and a sister in law.
