Carl Miller, 87, of Mahomet died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 23, 2014) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born June 9, 1926, in Illiopolis, a son of Herbert and Helen (Roberts) Miller. They preceded him in death. A sister, two brothers, and a son, Douglas Miller, also preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Lola Burton; two sons, Jay Miller and Christopher Miller; a sister, Barbara Rudd; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
He served his country in the Navy during World War II. Before his retirement he was a master plumber.
