Mrs. Ellen J. Bauer, 81, of Macungie R. 1, widow of Wallace T. Bauer, died yesterday in her home. A native of Lower Macungie Township, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Albert Miller and Ellen J. (Biery) Miller. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie. Mrs. Bauer was a charter member of the Wescosville Fire Co. Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, Luther A., of Macungie R. 1, and Martin, at home; a brother, Austin R., of Wescosville; two sisters, Mrs. Marion Kahler, of Fullerton, and Mrs. Edna Binder, of East Texas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville. Calling hours will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
