6 Nov 1976: A guest at the Evangelical Congregational Church Retirement Village, Myerstown, who was a former light-opera and church-choir singer of considerable renown, died Friday in Good Samaritan Hospital. She is Helen Miller Bloser, 81, a native of Allentown and widow of W. Clark Bloser who died in 1972. Mrs. Bloser, a retired contralto was well known in Wilmington, N.C., and in New York City. She was a member of the Music Club of Allentown and sang with the Colonial Quartet in that city. Mrs. Bloser was a member of Seibert Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown. She had been a guest at the Myerstown church home since 1969. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Clifford G. Adams. Hellertown. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Christman Miller. 8 Nov 1976: Funeral services were held this morning for Helen Miller Bloser, of Evangelical Congregatlonal Retirement Village. Myerstown, widow of W. Clark Bloser, in the Kercher Funeral Home, Myerstown. The Rev. A.R. Kratzer. D.O., officiated. He is chaplain at the Village. Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown RD 3.
