Jean Baur Miller, 76, the last immediate member of the Campbell and Nellie Baur family, died peacefully after declining health on Thursday, May 17, 2001.
Jean was the widow of Russell W. Miller and is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Edith M. Light and Robert Chambliss Light Jr. of Lynchburg, Virginia, and Paige M. Jean was a 1942 graduate of John Marshall High School. She was a secretary at the Richmond Foundry, moved to Alabama, returned and eventually became the church administrator at St. Giles Presbyterian Church. Words cannot describe what a wonderful Christian gentlewoman she was.
She possessed an incredible sense of humor, and chose to live her life always filled with laughter and hope. Jean was a woman of tremendous faith and courage.
