E. C. Miller Services Set Tuesday

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Buffington chapel at 10 a.m. for Edward C. (Ed) Miller, who died in the Bexar county Hospital Sunday at 3:20 a.m.
the Rev. Dave Davidson, pastor of the Eastside Baptist church, officiated with burial to take place in the City cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born in Gonzales county on March 10, 1895, the son of Gus H. and Elizabeth Holmes Miller. A Route salesman for the CocaCola Bottling Company he was a member of the Eastside Baptist church and of the VFW Post No. 4817. He also served with the U.S. Army in Europe during World War I with Company L. 360th Infantry, 90th Division.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Ellen and Mrs. Jo Ann Bond, both of San Antonio; a step daughter, Mrs. Emma Jean Sherry of Alice; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Miller of Houston, and Henry Miller of Seguin; and a sister, Mrs, Elizabeth Els of Gonzales.
