Teresa Agnes Mikel, 83, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in Duncan.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 8, 2016 in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Teresa was born Wednesday, November 30, 1932 in Marlow to Walter Marvin and Tressa Evelyn (Taylor) Careathers. She attended Marlow Schools and had lived most of her life in the Marlow area. On September 3, 1949 she married the love of her life, Max Mikel in Henrietta, Texas, he preceded her in death on April 1, 1999. Teresa was a homemaker and took pride raising her children. She enjoyed all the seasons of her life. She like to listening to the radio, work puzzles and read books. Teresa was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Duncan.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Owens and Meta Cornelius, three brothers, Bobby Careathers, Junior Careathers and Billy Careathers
