Claudia Grammie Michaels Beck, 66, went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 24, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL born to the late Edwin H. and Frances (Jones) Michaels.
Claudia was a devoted mother and grandmother and an active member of Gardenview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Robert Wayne Beck and her brother, Brian E. Michaels. She leaves behind her sons, Robbie (Fran) and Matt (Amy); her grandchildren, Dana, Leah, Daniel and Faith; a devoted lifelong friend, Betty Meares and other loving friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 28, at Gardenview Baptist Church, 3139 Armsdale Road, with Rev. Gary Griffis officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the church. Arrangements by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home.
