Adrienne, of Port Arthur, passed away on Tuesday at Oak Grove Nursing Home.
She was a native of New Iberia, Louisiana; born to Ed Meyer and Noesia Broussard Meyer. She lived in the Port Arthur area for more than ninety years. She retired after working for Fournet Men's Wear and J. C. Penney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Benson, Sr; sons, Michael Benson and Jack Benson; and five siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Benson; son, Clarence Benson, Jr.; brother, Ray Meyer; sister, Gloria Thibodeaux; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
