Mrs. Meyer died Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community, Lawrence.
Clara was born May 20, 1918, in Atchison, the daughter of William and Clara (Clem) Walz. She worked as a clerk in the assessors office at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, and was a member of the Basehor United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Albert Meyer May 27, 1995.
Survivors include one son, Harold Meyer, Kingsburg, Calif.; two daughters, Barbara Upton, Sacramento, Calif., and Nancy Reese, Lawrence; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
