Anna (Merritt) Langtry, mother of Eddie Merritt of Danville, died Friday evening in the the Hendricks County Hospital at the age of 85. She was a member of the Calvary Methodist of Brownsburg and a resident of South Green Street, there. Funeral services were Monday afternoon from the Jones & Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with the Rev Robert Fair officiating. Burial was in the Brownburg Cemetery. Surviving with the son are five other children, Mrs. Evelyn Collins, California, Mrs. Beulah Brant, Pittsboro, Mrs. Violet Flynn, Indianapolis, Mrs. Doris Hayden, Brownsburg and Wayne Merritt, Preston, Washington; and two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Masten, Indianapolis and Mrs. Gertrude Lenhart, Detroit, Michigan.
