James V. Merritt of Brownsburg died Monday evening. Funeral services will be conducted from the Jones & Matthews Mortuary this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Brownsburg cemetery.
Survivors are the widow Anne; five daughters, Mrs. Violet Howard and Carolyn Lobdell, both of Indianapolis; Mrs. Beulah Brant, Danville; Mrs. Doris Hayden, Brownsburg, and Mrs. Evelyn Hart, Sanger, Calif. and two sons, Wayne of Napa, Calif., and Edward of Danville.
