Orville Meranda
Havre--Orville Meranda, 71, former Gildford rancher, died at his home in Deer Park, Wash. Funeral services were conducted in Spokane.
Meranda homesteaded near Gildford, Mont., and later went to work for the Great Northern Railway. Upon his retirement from the railroad, he lived at Gildford and recently moved to Washington.
He is survived by the widow; a brother, Jim Meranda, Spokane, and two sisters in California.
