Mary Agnes Mendel, 70, joined her beloved nephew Cary Chapman in heaven. She was born September 12, 1936 in Fairfield, Texas. She passed away Thursday August 16, 2007 at her home in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother Jewel Green; father Clyde Tubb; brother Kermit Tubb and nephew Cary Chapman.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Lee Mendel; sons Richard, Kevin, and Kenneth Mendel; daughters Regena Fantich and her husband Chris. Larena Krolczyk and her husband Ernest. Grandchildren Krystal Downey, Larene Graves, Amanda Downey, Bobbie Noelle Downey, Jordan Warmke and KJ Mendel; great-grandchild Landon Downey; sister Murrell Chapman. She was a loyal and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She touched everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed. Funeral services were private.
