Worked her whole life in the family businesses, which were McCool Lockers & Cafe, at McCool Junction, Nebraska, Skelley's Crossroad Cafe, at York, Nebraska, Rio Grande Motel & Lubin's Malt Mart, at Del Norte, Colorado.
In her life she got to live in several places, Sheridan, Wyoming, North Platte, Lincoln & McCool Junction, Nebraska, Chesterfield, Virginia, Los Lunas, New Mexico and Del Norte, Colorado.
She enjoyed reading, making Latch Hook rugs, Find A Word Puzzles and going to the Drive Inn Movies.
She loved to travel. She used to travel with her Friend Margaret "Maggie" Shallenberg on road trips. She had many trips to Dardanelle, Arkansas to visit her Aunt Marie B. Utley. Yhona traveled mostly by Bus (Trailways), as she didn't drive and she had a fear of flying due to her fear of heights. She only flew one time in her life in April of 1969 (United Airlines) when she went home to Nebraska from Virginia, after that her feet stay firmly on the ground.
She LOVED being Aunt to ALL of the kids in the family.
She was surrounded by family and many friends at her passing.

She made her home with Dale in Del Norte, Colorado.
Cause of Death: Pneumonia.
Passed away late afternoon at St. Mary's Corwin Hospital.
