Alma Maebell Meeks, 74, of Lodi died Oct. 12 at a local convalescent hospital after a short illness. She was born Alma Ayers on March 15, 1918 in Hot Springs, Ark.
She married Olen Meeks on April 24, 1936 in Visalia. They moved to Lodi in 1939.
Mrs. Meeks was a housewife and member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three children, Doyle, Bobbie and Maebeth Meeks.
Mrs. Meeks is survived by her husband Olen Meeks of Valley Springs, a son Jerry Lee Meeks; two daughters, Donna Fay Douglas and Brenda Katherine Reule; a brother, Odell Ayers of Visalia; a sister, Delcie Meeks of Arkansas; nine grandchildren amd five great grandchildren.
