Age 89, of St. Louis, formerly of DeSoto, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis County. He had been a pipe fitter and was a member of Local 562 for 31 year and First Baptist Church of DeSoto. He was the son of the late Jesse N. and Emma (Ruppel) McKee.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beulah (Woods) McKee; a brother Roy McKee; and a sister Blanche Ross.
He is survived by a daughter Vicki (John) McKee Swift of Tulsa, OK; two surviving brothers: Victor "Vick" McKee of Hillsboro and Thornton "Buck" McKee of Victoria; and two grandchildren: Joshua Daniel Swift and Jason Robert Swift.
Funeral services held at Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel in DeSoto, officiated by Rev. Marvin Nobles. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery in Lemay.
