She was the wife of the late Carl C. McElwee, who departed this life July 13, 2000, and is survived by a daughter, Mary Ellen Klunk and her husband Butch of Spring Grove, two grandchildren, Daniel F. Klunk and Stephanie E. Klunk of Spring Grove, and two sisters, Ruth Shenafield of Spring City, PA and Alice Kershner of East Greenfield, PA. A sister, Anna Bowen and two brothers, Roy and Tobert Platt, predeceased her.
