Mrs. Flora M McClelland, 71, died at 2:15 pm Thursday at home in Utica after an illness of 6 weeks of heart trouble. She was born in September, 1865, in Crawford County, daughter of Andrew and Eveline McMichael McQuiston.


On July 4, 1888, she married Dr. F. M. McClelland, shortly after he established his practice in Utica, who died a year ago. At that time, he was the oldest practicing physician in Venango County.


She was active for many years in community affairs at Utica, was a member of Utica United Presbyterian Church, and active in W. C. T. U. for 50 years.


Surviving are a son, Dr. Willis B. McClelland of Franklin; and a foster daughter, Mrs. Fred McCune of Utica. Deceased is a sister, Mrs. Nellie McQuiston McCracken.


Services will be at 2 pm Monday at her home with Rev. Shannon, her pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. St. Clair of Utica Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Millcreek Cemetery.
