Mrs. Sadie Bassett
Bar Harbor, Oct. 29- Mrs. Sadie Bassett, 74, died Sunday at a local Bar Harbor hospital after a long illness. She was born in Trenton December 9, 1881, a daughter of the late Alexander and Jane MacQuinn.
Mrs. Bassett's first husband, Arthur Burch, died in 1920. In 1926 [sic]she married Clyde Bassett, who survives her.
Mrs. Bassett was a member of St. Saviour's Episcopal Church in Bar Harbor.
Survivors are her husband; four sons, Roger Burch, South Portland, Sanford Burch and Mervin Burch of Bar Harbor, Philip Burch of North Quincy, Mass.; one daughter, Mrs. Mary McKay of Milbridge; one brother, Arthur MacQuinn of Bar Harbor; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the McFarland Funeral Home in Bar Harbor, with the Rev. Ralph Hayden of St. Saviour's Church officiating.
Committal services will be held at 230 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Pine Grove cemetery in Hartland.
