Mrs. Orlo McPherson-Bowser
After an illness lasting from the first of this year, Mrs. Orlo McPherson-Bowser entered into rest this Tuesday morning, August 20, 1918 at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ada McPherson in West Kittanning at six o'clock.
The cause of her death was tuberculosis. With her husband she resided at Vandergrift, but when the ravages of the disease reached that stage when it became apparent that no cure was possible, she was brought to the home of her mother, where her last days were made as easy as possible for kind hearts and tender hands to do. The deceased was aged 46 years.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph McPherson. Her mother, four sisters and one brother survive her as follows: Miss Bertha, east End, Pittsburg; Mrs. Harry Seyler, of West Kittanning; Miss Ruth of Sebring, Ohio; Miss Amanda, at home; William of Kittanning.
Funeral services at the family residence, West Kittanning, Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. J. G. Langham officiating. Interment in the Kittanning cemetery.
