Bridgewater, Hazel Fern

RIDGEWATER, HAZEL FERN, 87, died Sunday, February 25, 2007. She was a homemaker, a member of the Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post # 234 and served as a sheriff at the election polls for many years. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Morris E. Bridgewater on September 12, 2001 and three brothers, Delmar, Eldon and Dale McNeely. Survivors include her son, Gary D. Bridgewater (Joan K.) ; a brother, Leland McNeely; three grandchildren, Danny Hutcherson (Laura), Grant and Megan Bridgewater; a great grand child, Graeme Hutcherson. Funeral service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home, with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home. Memorial contributions: her church, c/o Collins Funeral Home
