FALKNER, MS -Glennie McMillin LaBarreare, 91, life long resident of Falkner, MS and beloved wife of Roy LaBarreare, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016, at her home following an extended illness. Born June 7, 1925 in Tippah County, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Mammie Keith McMillin. Mrs. LaBarreare was a graduate of Falkner High School and married the love of her life Roy LaBarreare on January 18, 1947. Glennie was a devoted member of Falkner Baptist Church. She will be remembered for many things; her faith in God, her involvement in her community and her love and loyalty to her family and friends. She found much pleasure in sewing, caring for her pets, gardening, and sharing with her neighbors and friends.

Services for Mrs. LaBarreare will be Sunday December 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of McBride Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Huddleston and Bro. Billy Foley officiating. Visitation will be Sunday December 4, 2016 from 7:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at McBride Funeral Home.
Mrs. LaBarreare is survived by her children, Tommy (Kathy) LaBarreare of Falkner; Vicki (Jody) Wallace of Horn Lake; Betty (Ricky) Stroupe of Tupelo; seven grandchildren, Heather (Nick) Ashmore, Janna LaBarreare; Lezli (Brad) Meadows, Clay Wallace, Loni (Roger) Webb, Westin Stroupe, Tori Stroupe; three great-grandchildren, Halann Wallace, Presley Meadows,Paxton Meadows; one sister, Jean (Hugh) Butler of Falkner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-three years, Roy LaBarreare; two brothers, Marshell McMillin, Robert McMillin; two sisters Madeline Jackson, Joe Ethel Grisham. Pallbearers were Clay Wallace, Westin Stroupe, Nick Ashmore, Brad Meadows, Paxton Meadows, Roger Webb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Heather Ashmore, Janna LaBarreare, Lezli Meadows, Loni Webb, Tori Stroupe, Halann Wallace, Presley Meadows.
