Colbert (Sarge) McLaurin, 67, of Pensacola, died, Thursday, May 21, 2009 at a local hospital.
Sarge was born, February 08, 1942 in Columbia, South Carolina, to Jack C. McLaurin and Virginia Harmon McLaurin.
He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. Sarge retired from Pensacola High School after 20 years with the Jr. ROTC. He was an avid NASCAR Fan.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie; sister, Karen Porter (Lloyd) of Columbia, SC; daughter, Kathy Nix (John) of Biloxi, MS; sons, Keith McLaurin (Debbie) of Ocean Springs, MS, Michael McLaurin of Biloxi, MS and Mark McLaurin of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Brad Nix (Angie), Christopher McLaurin, Gerrad McLaurin, Johneen Nix and Tasha St. Arnaud; great grandchildren, Makayla and Alyssa Nix and Kaylee King.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Bayview Memorial Park with Reverend Cliff Morgan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday at the Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway is in charge of arrangements.
