KENDALLVILLE - Rebecca S. Carmin, 83 died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

Mrs. Carmin was a graduate of Eaton High School. She worked for Peoples Ice Co. and later as a manager at Marhoefers Employees Federal Credit Union which became Munseetown Federal Credit Union. Mrs. Carmin served as the treasurer of the Muncie Women's Bowling League and was a member of a card club.

She was born Feb. 20, 1929, to Kemper "Doc" and Mary E. (Wright) McKinley. She married P. Max Carmin on Feb. 6, 1949, in Eaton. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Jill Carmin; a granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Boyd McKinley and Gene McKinley.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Muncie.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Memorials are to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.waterfuneralhomes.com
