Ellen E. (McKeon) Blanchard, 86, of Paxton, formerly of Worcester, died Saturday, October 12, 2013. Her husband of 40 years, Philip J. Blanchard, Jr. died in 1991.
Three brothers, James R., Francis X. and Matthew C. McKeon and three sisters, Mary Hanratty, Winifred Werme, and Anne Costello predeceased her.
Mrs. Blanchard was born in Stoughton and raised in Cherry Valley, MA. She was the daughter of James and Alice (Trainor) McKeon, graduated from Leicester High School and received her Bachelor's Degree and Master's of Education from Worcester State College.
Mrs. Blanchard had been a teacher for the Leicester Public School System for 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church for nearly 50 years and The Guild of Our Lady of Providence for over twenty years.
Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester.
