Dora Goforth McKee, 95, was born August 19, 1889 in Douglas County. She died May 7, 1985 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital. She had one son, Fred Goforth. She married Ulus McKee June 4, 1941. Surviving are her husband, Ulus McKee of Houston; one son, Fred Goforth of Elk Creek; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, four half-brothers and one half-sister. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist faith. Services were Thursday, May 9 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Campbell officiating. Burial was in the Pinelawn Cemetery
