Anna Talitha d/o Richard Lee and Elizabeth (possibly Scott.) Ann was the 5th child out of 17. Her mother, and most of her siblings, went to Howard Co., Missouri. From there they are found in other parts of Missouri. The link below for Elizabeth will show that Captain Wm. Scott and Ann Mason are Elizabeth's parents. The math doesn't make sense. It shows that Wm. Scott was born
1749 and Ann born 1747. That would have made them parents at the ages of 12 and 14. Also, on Elizabeth's page it shows that she married Richard Bland Lee. If someone has a source showing our Richard's middle name, or initial, could you please share it? Thank you.

For a list of all of Ann Lee McGuire's siblings go to kykinfolk.org/madison Next click on Deeds
and then Richard Lee Heirs. ALL the children, with the exception of Wm. Lee are listed, even the deceased, along with name of husbands, Belsha and Todd grandchildren. The females all have
"late". Doesn't mean they are deceased, it's to show the maiden name Lee.

Ann married Thomas McGuire/McGuyer on Oct. 7, 1805 in Madison Co. KY. Their children are

1. Mary Ann "Polly" McGuire. Polly was born in Paint Lick, Madiosn (now Garrard) Co. KY and died July 9, 1881 in Field Twp., Jefferson Co., IL. Cause of death was dropsy of the head and chest. Polly married Nathaniel G. Bryan Dec. 24, 1826, in Bedford Co., TN. Their oldest son, Thomas Bryan married his first cousin, Melea Ann Carpenter, daughter of Temperance McGuire.

2. Elizabeth McGuire. Betsy was born June 3, 1809 in Paint Lick, KY and died May 8, 1872 in Collin Co., TX. Betsy married Claiborne Wilson Coats.

3. Temperance McGuire was born May 27, 1810 in Paint Lick, KY. On June 18, 1880 Tempie is in the 1880 census in Field Twp., Jefferson Co., IL, so she died after this date. Her first husband was John Wesley Carpenter and they had 6 children. Their daughter,Melea Ann, married her first cousin, Thomas W. Bryan, son of Mary Ann McGuire Bryan. (Both Tempie & MaryAnn are my
GGGG grandmothers.) Tempie married Elisha Harmon and they had 2 or 3 sons. Until a marriage date can be determined, not sure how many boys were from this marriage. On the 1850 census for Marion Co., IL Dist. 11, Tempie and Elisha are household #207. Her Carpenter children are at household #208. Have no idea if Tempie is buried in IL., TN or somewhere in-between.

4. Nancy McGuire. According to what I was told Nancy was born January 11, 1812, in Paint Lick.
She married Robert McFarlin/McFarland. In the 1870 census for Hopkins Co., TX., her mother, Ann Lee McGuire, is living with her.

5. Sarah McGuire. Sally was born 1814 in Bedford Co., TN. Her memorial # 8241042 has complete dates of birth and death. Sarah married Wm. R. Sharp. Their daughter, Nicey Sharp Carpenter married her first cousin, Thomas Benjamin Carpenter. Tom's mother was -you guessed it - Temperance McGuire Carpenter.

6. Catherine McGuire. Katie was born April 1815, in Bedford Co., TN and died May 9, 1889, in Bedford Co. Katie married Bibb Bomar. They are buried in Horse Mountain Cemetery, Bedford Co., TN.

7. Susan McGuire. Susan was born Nov. 10, 1816 in Bedford Co., TN and died April 9, 1905 in Tennessee. She married Don Carlos Shriver about 1839. They are also buried in Horse Mountain Cemetery, Bedford Co., TN.

8. A male who died early.

9. Lucinda McGuire. Lucinda was born Sept. 4, 1820/1823, in Bedford Co., Tn. She died
January 24, 1897 in Charleston Co., TX. Lucinda married David Simeon R. George.

10. Cornelius Butcher McGuyer.

Ann's G grandson, James F. Carpenter is also buried in this cemetery.
