Mrs. Anna McGraw Dies at Pine Lake
Saturday Afternoon
Mrs. Anna Anthony McGraw, widow of Homer McGraw, capitalist, died at her residence, Pine Lake, Friday. She had been in failing health since the death of her mother, Mrs. Eliza F. Anthony last May, and her youngest daughter, Marguerite, in August.
Mrs. McGraw was born at Medina, N. Y., in 1861, and at the age of 2 came to Detroit with her parents. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church for 50 years, and an ardent worker in all its activities. She was also a member of the D.A.R. Until she moved out to Pine Lake, three years ago, her home was at Cass and Antoinette avenue.
The body will be brought to the home of her niece. Mrs. Fred Hendrick, 889 Chicago boulevard, and will remain there until removed to the First Presbyterian church, Edmund place and Woodward avenue, where the service will be conducted by Rev. Joseph A. Vance. Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be at Woodlawn cemetery
