Mrs. Sarah Blanche Harris, aged 67, one of Jackson’s most beloved and noble women, died yesterday at the family residence, 117 North President street. Mrs. Harris is survived by five daughters, Mesdames G. H. Cameron, Willie White, Nellie Chapman, W. R. Draughon and Oliver Noel. One son, Mr. Sam Dixon, and one brother, Dr. C. A. McGowan, also survive Mrs. Harris. Two grandsons of the deceased are with the American Army in France.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at ten o’clock from the residence. Interment will be made at Greenwood cemetery.
