Bernice L. Brotherson, 80, of 2012 E. Lincoln St, Bloomington, died at 2:03 a.m. yesterday (Dec. 10, 1991) at BroMenn Lifecare Center, Bloomington.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Fred Belcher officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Downs.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the memorial home.
Mrs. Brotherson was born June 11, 1911, in Burlington, Kan., a daughter of Charles and Katie Reed McGlothlin. She married Harold F. Brotherson Sept. 18, 1971, in Bloomington. He died Feb. 4,1985.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Carter, 326 Southgate Estates, Bloomington, and Lanny Carter, Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Kay Clemons, 352 Southgates Estates, Bloomington; two brothers, Ivan Ryan, Largo, Fla., and Cecil McGlothlin, Albany, Ore.; two sisters, Dorothy Pierce, Salem, Ore., and Katherine Faust, Kerrville, Texas; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one granddaughter.
Mrs. Brotherson was a Methodist.
