Myrtle McGlothlin Ball, age 76 of Road Ridge, Virginia, went home Monday, April 26, 2010 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born June 21, 1933 she was the daughter of the late James and Dolly McGlothlin. She was a member of Road Ridge Assembly of God Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Ball; and one brother, Dolphis McGlothlin.
She is survived by one son, Gary Ball and wife Josephine of Raven, VA; two daughters, Regina Blalock and husband Danny of Hampton, VA and Jolena Dye and husband Teddy of Clarks Valley, VA; four granddaughters, Michelle Russ, Nichole Dye, Blane Walker and Jessica Blalock; one grandson, Chris Blalock; great-grandchildren, Larissa, Laken, Madison, Ashton, Logan, Taylor, Brady, Savannah, Lilabell and Caroline; one sister, Shirley Mallory of Alabama; one brother, Clarence McGlothlin of Raven, VA; and special caregivers, Patricia Byrd and Christy Whitt.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Virginia with Rev. James Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball Cemetery at Road Ridge, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
