James McGinty
James T. McGinty, 65, Neola, was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital Wednesday.
McGinty suffered an apparent heart attack at Neola while driving his car and went off the road.
McGinty was born in Battle Creek, Neb., and had spent most of his life in Neola. He was a retired farmer, World War II veteran, member of American Legion Post 330 of Neola and St. Patrick's Church there.
Survivors include his mother, Ada McGinty of Council Bluffs; three sisters, Alice Arrick of Council Bluffs, Ethel Eastland of Denver, Colo., and Marceline Crawley of Omaha; two brothers, Bill McGinty of Denver and Charles McGinty of Des Moines.
A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church at Neola.
The body has been donated to the Anatomical Society of Nebraska. Hillside Mortuary in Neola is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no viewing of the body.
