Rose Ettie Bales, 74, of Richmond, MO passed away Tuesday September 30, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO.

Born August 20, 1934 in Rayville, MO she was the daughter of Lloyd Efton and Mamie Mae (Wright) McFee. On September 11, 1974 in Richmond, MO she was married to Glen Arthur Bales, Sr. who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two sons, Larry Outersky of Gladstone MO and Rick Outersky of Mountain Grove MO; five step-children, Glen Bales Jr, of Richmond MO, Glenda White, Paul Bales, Patricia Owens and Kimberly Bales all of West Fork AR; two sisters, Wilma Battagler of Orrick MO and Vera Ramey of Kansas City MO; six grandchildren, Megan Outersky, Mendy Ford, Lisa Williams, Brent Outersky, Travis Outersky and Madyson Outersky; 12 step-gandchildren, Chasity Koska, Tyrell Koska, Debbie Bales, Heather Bales, Michael Owens, Regina Owens, Micheal Bales, Charity Bales, Melissa Bales, Jennifer Bales, Diana Bales and Crystal Bales; 6 great-grandchildren, Avery Lee, Dominic Williams, Cason Lee, Donivin Williams, Stacy Outersky and Kristopher Outersky; 3 step-great-grandchildren, Ashley, Caleb and Brittany Koska and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lloyd McFee, Junior McFee and Roland McFee and four sisters, Jane Swafford, MaryBelle Green, Lola Estenbaum and Louella McFee.

Mrs. Bales was a life-long resident of the Richmond community. She attended Rayville School and following her marriage she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Richmond Assembly of God Church and enjoyed reading. She loved spending time with her family but especially her grandchildren who she adored.

Funeral services will be held Friday October 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, MO. Burial will be in the Crowley Cemetery at Rayville, MO. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society.
