Wanda L. McFarland, 73, of Connersville, passed away Wednesday morning, August 5, 2009 at Hickory Creek of Connersville, where she had been a resident for 3 ½ years. She was born July 23, 1936 in Somerset, Kentucky, one of two children of John T. and Beulah Dick Morrow. She moved to Indiana with her family as a child and has been a resident of Indiana since that time. For many years she was employed as the manager of the Dawson's Amoco at 30th and Western Avenue. She was faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church and during her leisure time enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Donald McFarland, to whom she was married in 1995 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee; three children: Brenda Miller of Richmond, Robert Anderson and wife, Krystal of Shelbyville and Allen Anderson and wife, Kristen of New Palestine, Indiana; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Andy Anderson Jr, who died in 1982, her parents, and a brother, Homer Dick.
