On June 16th, the death Angel came and called to rest a loved one who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Maud R. Conger was born July 26, 1883, the daughter of Robert W. and Nancy Katherine McEuen. She was married to Paul W. Conger on January 1, 1898. To this union was born 10 children, 8 of whom survive, two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Loyd and Mrs. Verbie Agent having preceded her in death.

Among those living are four sons, Ancil, Walter, and Kenneth of West Frankfort, Ill., and Ernest of this county, Mrs. M.E. Watson of Union Community, Mrs. Clyde McFall, Mrs. George Bell, and Mrs. John Mills, all of Marion. One brother, Tom McEuen of this county; five sisters, Mrs. Ophelia Woodside of California, Mrs. John Armstrong of Dyersburg, Tenn., Mrs. Leonard Riley of Marion, Mrs. Elbert Hodge and Mrs. Kel Scott of this county, and a host of friends.
