Mary K. Tarry McEachern Lansing St Ignace, Sarasota FL Born on December 31, 1919 in Lansing, MI to the late Esther (Rolston) Terry and Arthur Terry, and raised in St Ignace, MI, Mary passed away on April 26, 2012 at the age of 92. Mary lived a varied and fulfilled life, indulging her love of flowers with the River Forest Garden Club and her belief in community service as a volunteer at St. Lawrence Hospital. She was very active in her children's lives and served as a member of the Horsebrook Elementary PTA and as a cub scout leader. She was an active member of both Plymouth Congregational Church and Unity of Greater Lansing, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. She was always up for a good game of Canasta, Cribbage or Bridge or an ice cream cone of any flavor. An avid golfer, a passionate gardener and a talented cook and baker, Mary loved to travel and spend time with her family and her many friends, including those in St Ignace, MI and in Sarasota, FL, where she later resided. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Edward Tarry, the father of her three children, her son Raymond Preston Tarry (Doc), her sister Helen (Terry) Matson and her childhood sweetheart and husband, Donald Keith McEachern. She will be missed by her loving family, sons Dean A. Tarry (Skip) and Tim E. Tarry, her daughter-in-law Ronda Tarry, her 10 grandchildren, Pilar, Dylana, Carrie, Raymee, Angie, Tim, Deanna, Mary Jo, Jay and Andrea, and by her 10 great grandchildren. Mary will be remembered by her family and friends at a gathering to be held on Saturday, May 5th at 3:00p.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lansing. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 South Cochran, Charlotte, MI 48813.
