Sarah McDuffy Jackson, 96, of Dumas, died May 4, 2001, at Delta Memorial Hospital at Dumas.

Born August 6, 1904, at Boydell (Ashley County), she was a daughter of the late Will McDuffy and Lucy McDuffy.

She was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Dumas where she served on the mother's board. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Willie Jones of Dumas and Odell Bynum of Milwaukee; one daughter, Ozell Taylor of Little Rock; 11 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great grandchildren; and 21 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Watson District Headquarters with the Rev. P.C. Holley officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery at Dumas by Brown Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
