New Iberia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Maxine McDonald Boudreaux, 61, who died Monday, September 2, 2013, in New Iberia.

Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

Rev. Mark Derise will be the Celebrant.

A resident of New Iberia, Maxine was born on May 26, 1952, and was a 1970 graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She attended Nichols State University and worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Louisiana Department of Transportation for 35 years. She enjoyed photography and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Tony James Boudreaux of New Iberia; her mother, Rita Duhon McDonald of New Iberia; sons, Jacob McDonald Boudreaux and Seth Daniel Boudreaux both of New Iberia; brothers, Mark McDonald and wife Shelia, Jude McDonald and wife Melissa all of New Iberia; sisters, Marie Menard and husband Terry, Janet Mire and husband Elray all of New Iberia; father-in-law, Malcolm Boudreaux, Sr. of New Iberia; brothers-in-law, Malcolm Boudreaux, Jr. and wife Jeanette of New Iberia, Clint Boudreaux and wife Michelle of Coteau; sisters-in-law, Nanette Dartez and husband Kevin, Missy Derouen, and Pam Derouen and husband Irvin all of New Iberia, Darlene Borel and husband Hansel of Loreauville, Shelia Delahoussaye and husband Harold of Breaux Bridge; godchildren, Brent McDonald, Ryan Menard, and Mindy McDonald Cormier; nieces and nephews, Jason Menard, Stacey Horton, Callie Arceneaux, Tyler Mire, Kristy Touchard, Kacie and Shelby McDonald, Amy Bodin, Beau Borel, Mikalyn Boudreaux, Brock Derouen, Zach Derouen¸ Dylan Delahoussaye, and Danielle Caillier; 14 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, J. B. McDonald, Jr.; a nephew, Blake Dartez; mother-in-law, Verna Boudreaux; grandparents, J.B. McDonald, Sr., Ora McDonald, Eugene Duhon, Sr., and Martine Duhon.

Pallbearers will include Jacob Boudreaux, Seth Boudreaux, Caleb Lolan, Mark McDonald, Jude McDonald, Luke Viator, Ryan Menard, and Brent McDonald.

Honorary pallbearers include Malcolm Boudreaux, Sr., Clint Boudreaux, Malcolm Boudreaux, Jr., Mike McDonald, Kermit McDonald, Jr., and Al Rahim.

Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Boulevard, New Iberia, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
