Ruby Irene McDaniel Gallimore, 86, of Lansing, MI, formerly of Dresden died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Country Acres Assisted Living in Eaton Rapids, MI. Funeral services for Mrs. Gallimore will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home with burial following in West Union Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, March 29, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume Saturday from 11:00 AM to service time at Noon.

Mrs. Gallimore was born March 25, 1927 in Weakley County, TN to the late Willie and Ortha Rudd McDaniel. She was a hotel laundry worker and Baptist by faith.

Mrs. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edmund "Jake" Gallimore and seven siblings. She is survived by son, David L. (Kelly) Gallimore of Dimondale, MI, daughter, Patricia Gallimore Hunt of Louisiana, six grandchildren, eight grandchildren, sister, Eugene Lawrence and brother, Cloise (Carolyn) McDaniel of Tennessee.
