Jean Fletcher, 82, of Bowling Green, Ohio died Thursday, May 29, 2008. Jean was born in Havelock, Iowa to the late Thomas and Beatrice (Morgan) McCutcheon. She married Dale Fletcher on June 2, 1946 and he preceded her in death. Jean was also preceded in death by a son Eric, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Jean worked at the Ohio Art Factory in Bryan, Ohio from 1958 - 1964. She was later employed for 30 years and retired from Marathon Special Products. Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bowling Green and had attended BGSU. She would ride her first rollercoaster ride at 70 years of age at Cedar Point on the Magnum XL, and loved it! Jean is survived by; a son: Mark (Vickie) Fletcher; and daughter: Carlotta Tavernier, both of Bowling Green; two sisters: Anna Moog of Bryan, Ohio and Betty David of Holt, Michigan; two brothers: Tom McCutcheon and Matt McCutcheon both of Pueblo, Colorado; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Fletcher will be held Friday, May 30, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home and Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, 419-352-2171. The Funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church, 749 S. Wintergarden Rd., Bowling Green. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
