Mrs. Bislew passed away at the Lincoln Village Convalescent Center on Sunday afternoon, August 13, 1995, at the age of 85 years.

She was born in Racine on December 19, 1909, to the late John C. and Marie L. (nee: Wischneeosky) McCue. She was adopted at the age of 3 by Frank and Jennie White.

Pearl was married to Frederick A. Bislew on December 14, 1935, at Church of the Atonement in Racine.

Mrs. Bislew was a graduate of the 1933 St. Luke's School of Nursing. She belonged to RING, Woman's Club of Racine, Florence Nightingale Society, past President of the Elks Ladies, a member of the Zoological Society, Grace Lutheran Church, and Holy Innocence Episcopal Church.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Ted Moore of Rhinelander, Wis., Sharon and Michael Tohm of Racine; four grandchildren, Randal Frederick Romnek, Robert Emery and his wife, Janell Romnek, Christopher James Romnek, Rebecca Pearl and her husband, Ken Brueggeman; two great-grandchildren, James Christopher Romnek and Nicole Jean Romnek; two stepgrandchildren, Patricia and her husband, Tom Nilolai and her husband, Robert and Sandy Moore; beloved sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Charles Lloyd; a sister-in-law, Mrs. William Bislew; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bislew on August 24, 1992.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 1995, at 10 a.m. in GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, corner of Washington and West Lawn Avenues, with the Rev. Ronald Nichols officiating. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park Garden Court Crypts. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 1139 Blaine Avenue.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Bislew to one's favorite charity have been suggested.
