Carla A. Anderson of Falconhead, Burneyville, OK was born August 22, 1966 in Gainesville, TX, the daughter of Dan and Emma Jean Tune McCrory. She passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, OK at the age of 44.
A 1984 graduate of Gainesville High School, Mrs. Anderson had been a resident of Love County since 2000. She and Cecil Roy Anderson, Jr. were married in Woodbine, TX on October 17, 1997. Mrs. Anderson received a degree in cosmetology and was taking classes toward an associate degree in business administration. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, cooking, gardening, being outdoors, taking walks, driving the tractor, water skiing, drawing and working puzzles. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Marietta's First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Danny McCrory.
Survivors include her husband, Jr. Anderson of the home; mother, Emma Jean McCrory of Gainesville; son, Jace Mast of Richards, TX; three daughters, Sarah Mast of Amarillo, TX, and Mary Anderson and Rebecca Anderson of the home; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Belita and Jeff Morris of Sanger, TX, Pam and Paul Thurman and Gloria and Jimmy Smith of Sherman, TX and Diana and Jerry Thurman of Sherwood Shores, TX; and a granddaughter, Emily Mae Mast of Amarillo.
Serving as bearers will be nephews, Scotty Thurman, Bobby Thurman, Mark Thurman, Colt Morris, Justin Morris and David Smith. Honorary bearers are Winstar co-workers and beauticians.
