Born June 7, 1964 in Grundy, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Laura Baker McCoy. She was the owner and operator of B&G Cash Market at Roseann and was secretary for GM Refrigeration. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Chapel at Wolford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cathy McCoy, and two brothers, Tommy and Joe McCoy.
She is survived by her husband, Herman Ball; one daughter, Tamera Beth Ball Gibbs and husband, James Dakota, of Grundy; step-daughter, Crystal Michelle Jessee and husband, Joseph, of Lebanon; three step-grandchildren, Grant, Alex and Madison; brothers, Bill McCoy and wife, Pam and Jack McCoy, all of Hurley, Johnny McCoy, of Harman and Bobby McCoy and wife, Diane, of Grundy; sisters, Margaret Blankenship and husband, Abe and Connie Ward and husband, Steve, all of Grundy, and Athlene Blankenship and husband, Terry, of Hurley.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 29 at Virginia Funeral Home Chapel in Grundy with Steve Lane and Jeff Stacy officiating. Burial followed in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
